Seyed Miratashi, Structural Engineer working in the Built Environment Team, Wienerberger
Seyed joined Wienerberger thanks to his research background in bricks and fired clay materials, helping Wienerberger with development of innovative products. He has a PhD in structural engineering from University of Manchester with 7 years working experience as an engineer.
Seyed has worked with Wienerberger in development of e4 house in numerous projects. Modern, sustainable homes such as e4 house are characterised by four key features: they sensibly use energy, are considerate to the environment, guarantee quality of life and are affordable to build and use. Wienerberger has summarised these four elements into its e4 strategy standing for economy, energy, emotion and environment. The Wienerberger e4 house was the first project to achieve the BRE Home Quality Mark Certification in recognition of the way its sustainable development and construction techniques have delivered exceptional thermal and energy performance.
